In the last 24 hours, massive floods have swept Louisiana, including the Baton Rouge area. In a heart-stopping video captured by local Baton Rouge news station WAFB Channel 9, a woman and her dog are trapped in a car, which is rapidly sinking underwater.

As the rescuers work quickly to break the windows of the car and pull the woman to safety, the woman can be heard calling for help, and saying, “I’m drowning!”

Luckily, she was pulled to safety by one of the rescuers, David Phung. As soon as she is above water, she pleads, “My dog — get my dog!”
