Rocky, the Military Working Dog we wrote about in December, has been recovering with top-notch veterinary care in Germany after being injured by an improvised explosive device (IED) in Afghanistan with his handler, SPC Andrew Brown. He was treated for a broken leg along with other injuries at the Dog Center Europe, a center that provides a range of veterinary services for the Army and the Department of Defense. Veterinarians at the Dog Center Europe are optimistic about a full recovery for Rocky and expect that he will return to active duty.
