On Christmas Day, an injured dog was lying in the middle of Interstate 540 in Raleigh, North Carolina. A paramedic, just after finishing an overnight shift, along with two off-duty firefighters, pulled over to help, reported ABC 11 WTVD. The trio took the dog to a veterinary hospital, and the staff there named her Cora. ABC 11 reports on her rescue in the video below.
